Basic characteristics

Local treatment
Application
The use of
intense pulsed light, which stimulates the local immune response, reduces the number of inflamed rashes and removes the reddish-purple and brown patches that remain on the skin after the rashes have healed in many patients. At the same time, the skin texture is improved and enlarged pores are reduced. The procedure lasts on average 15 – 20 minutes and the skin is red and slightly swollen after the procedure. Before the procedure, it is advisable to undergo
microdermabrasion, which removes the upper corner layer of the skin.
Duration
Improvement occurs on average as early as two months after starting regular treatment.
Risks
It is a minimally painful method in which the patient feels a sort of pinch at the site of the pulse. The procedure is performed only in autumn and winter, at regular intervals of 3-5 weeks.
