CHEMICAL PEEL 3% RETINOL NEOSTRATA
PEELING DURING WHICH WE APPLY FRUIT ACID IN 35, 50 AND 70% CONCENTRATION
There are several types of chemical peels, which vary according to the concentration and type of chemical used. Here are some of the most common types:
- Superficial peels (mild peels): these peels use a mild concentration of chemicals, such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) or beta hydroxy acids (BHA), to remove a layer of dead skin. This type of peel is usually used to improve skin texture, soften fine lines and even skin tone.
- Medium peel: This type of peel uses stronger chemicals, such as glycolic acid or trichloroacetic acid (TCA), to remove deeper layers of skin. The medium peel is used to reduce mild pigmentation, scars and fine lines. In the case of a medium peel, a recovery period of several weeks is often necessary.
- Deep peel: This type of peel is the most intense and uses a strong chemical such as phenol. A deep peel can penetrate deep into the skin and remove a significant amount of the top layers. This procedure is often used to remove deeper wrinkles, pronounced pigmentation, and prominent scars. Recovery after a deep peel can take several weeks to months
