Intervention

The procedure is performed without the need for anaesthesia. The laser light reaches below the surface of the skin and seals the coil by acting on the blood dye, which then breaks down and disappears. The procedure is ideally repeated 3-4 times depending on the extent and is carried out in the non-sunny season.

After the procedure

• do not expose to sunlight

Risks

• slight redness
• bruises
• slight swelling

Healing takes about 2 weeks and does not require sick leave.
