XERF

XERF – intelligent facial remodeling without changing your identity

We don’t want to change your face.
We want to change the way it ages.

A new generation of non-invasive remodeling is coming to Esthetic Clinic.

XERF represents a modern approach to tightening and remodeling facial tissues using radiofrequency energy. It allows us to work at different depths according to the anatomy, skin quality and individual needs of each patient.

Can we tighten the face without changing it?

Yes. And this is exactly where we see the future of modern aesthetic dermatology.

Facial aging is not just about wrinkles. Over time, skin quality, collagen, subcutaneous tissue, connective structures and the way the individual layers of the face work together all change.

That is why looking only at the surface is no longer enough.

At Esthetic Clinic, we are introducing XERF – a new-generation technology for non-invasive tissue remodeling that allows us to work at different depths according to the anatomy of each individual face.

Not every face ages in the same way

Some people primarily lose skin firmness. In others, volume, the jawline or the contours of the lower third of the face gradually change.

And that is precisely why we believe there is no single universal “lifting protocol”.

First, we analyse the face. Only then do we decide where and how to treat it.

What makes XERF different?

XERF uses radiofrequency energy at 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz and allows us to work in three modes according to the desired treatment depth:

  • SHALLOW – more superficial remodeling
  • MEDIUM – treatment at an intermediate tissue level
  • DEEP – deeper remodeling according to the anatomical indication

At the same time, the system monitors contact, temperature and tissue impedance and combines energy delivery with integrated cooling.

The result is not one protocol for everyone.

The result is the ability to create an individualized protocol according to the anatomy and needs of each individual face.

From “anti-aging” to Skin Longevity

At Esthetic, we no longer want to talk only about anti-aging.

We cannot stop aging. But we can influence the quality of the tissue we age with.

We call this concept Skin Longevity.

The goal is not to look like someone else. The goal is to preserve, for as long as possible:

  • skin firmness,
  • high-quality collagen architecture,
  • natural facial proportions,
  • functional and healthy skin tissue,
  • a face that still looks like you.

Not a “younger face”.
A better-aging face.

Who may be suitable for XERF?

XERF may be particularly suitable for patients who notice:

  • gradual loss of skin firmness,
  • early skin laxity,
  • changes in facial contours,
  • a less defined jawline,
  • tissue descent in the lower third of the face,
  • changes following significant weight loss,
  • age-related deterioration in skin quality.

And at the same time, they do not want an aesthetic treatment to change their natural facial expression.

XERF is not a facelift

And we do not want to present it as one.

In cases of significant excess skin, surgical lifting remains the most effective solution.

XERF is intended for patients in whom we want to work on tissue quality and firmness before surgical intervention becomes necessary, or for patients who do not want surgery.

The right indication is more important than the device itself.

XERF by Esthetic – not one protocol for everyone

In our view, one of the biggest mistakes in modern aesthetic medicine is applying the same approach to different faces.

That is why we have developed the concept:

XERF by Esthetic
Anatomically individualized remodeling

Before the procedure, the doctor assesses:

  • skin quality and thickness,
  • distribution of subcutaneous fat,
  • degree of laxity,
  • facial contours,
  • anatomical areas that require support,
  • previous aesthetic procedures.

Based on this assessment, an individualized treatment protocol is then created.

Technology is a tool.
The result also depends on the correct indication and the way we use it.

XERF in combination with other methods

Not every patient needs a combination of several treatments. Sometimes, however, one mechanism alone is not sufficient to address all the changes that occur as the face ages.

Depending on the individual indication, the doctor may therefore incorporate XERF into a more comprehensive Skin Longevity programme and combine it, using an appropriately timed and anatomically tailored protocol, with other methods available at Esthetic Clinic.

The goal is not to perform as many procedures as possible.

The goal is to choose exactly the treatments that each individual face needs.

XERF – 10 most frequently asked questions and answers

1. What is XERF and how does it work?

XERF is a modern non-invasive technology designed to tighten the skin, improve its quality and enhance the natural contours of the face. It uses monopolar radiofrequency energy at two frequencies – 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz – allowing treatment at different tissue depths.

Controlled heating acts on collagen structures and initiates their subsequent remodeling. The goal is not to change facial features, but to support skin firmness and its natural structure.

2. Who is XERF suitable for?

XERF is particularly suitable for patients with early to moderate loss of skin firmness who want to improve facial contours without surgery, needles or a long recovery period.

Suitability is not determined by age alone. Skin quality and thickness, the amount of subcutaneous fat, facial anatomy and the degree of laxity all play an important role. This is why every treatment is preceded by an individual assessment.

3. Which areas can be treated with XERF?

On the face, XERF is primarily used in areas where a gradual loss of skin firmness becomes visible – the cheeks, the lower third of the face, along the jawline and beneath the chin.

The extent and parameters of the treatment are adapted to the anatomical characteristics of each individual face. It is therefore not the same protocol for every patient.

4. Is XERF suitable for a slim face?

Yes, but with a slim face, correct treatment settings are particularly important.

Subcutaneous fat is an important component of youthful facial volume. Unwanted loss of this tissue may, in some facial types, accentuate signs of aging rather than reduce them.

XERF allows us to adapt the method and depth of treatment to the patient’s anatomy. For slim faces, we therefore choose a more conservative, precisely targeted protocol focused on skin tightening while preserving the natural proportions of the face.

5. What is the difference between XERF and HIFU?

XERF and HIFU are two different technologies.

HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy, while XERF works with monopolar radiofrequency energy. They differ in the way heat is generated and distributed, as well as in how they affect individual tissue layers.

That is why the important question is not simply which technology is “better”. What matters is which technology is more appropriate for a particular face, skin quality and the specific concern we want to address.

6. Is XERF treatment painful?

During the treatment, patients primarily experience gradually increasing warmth. The parameters are adjusted according to the treatment area and the patient’s individual tolerance.

One of the advantages of XERF is that it does not use needles and does not disrupt the surface of the skin. Patient comfort is continuously monitored throughout the procedure, and the energy intensity can be adjusted accordingly.

7. When will I see results after XERF?

Initial changes in skin firmness and facial contours may be visible shortly after treatment.

However, the result does not end there. The thermal stimulus initiates collagen remodeling processes that continue gradually over the following weeks and months. We therefore assess the result not only immediately after the procedure, but particularly over time.

It is a combination of an early effect and a gradually developing biological response of the skin.

8. How many XERF treatments will I need?

For many patients, a visible effect may be achieved after the first XERF treatment. However, the number of treatments required depends on the initial condition of the skin, the degree of laxity and the individual’s tissue response.

For mild laxity, a single treatment may be sufficient, with the result continuing to develop over the following weeks and months as collagen remodeling progresses.

For moderate to more pronounced skin laxity, repeating the treatment may be appropriate to achieve a better result. The number and interval of additional treatments are determined individually according to the clinical findings and the skin’s response.

We therefore do not view XERF as a treatment course with a mandatory predetermined number of sessions, but rather as an individually tailored lifting therapy based on the needs of each individual face.

In cases of very significant excess skin, however, it is important to be clear that non-invasive technologies have their limitations and cannot replace the results of an appropriately indicated surgical facelift.

9. Is there any downtime after XERF?

XERF does not disrupt the surface of the skin and therefore generally does not require a traditional healing period. Immediately after treatment, the skin may temporarily feel warmer or appear slightly red.

Most patients can quickly return to their normal daily activities. However, individual skin reactions may vary.

This also makes XERF an interesting option for patients who want to improve skin firmness without having to plan for an extended recovery period.

10. How long do XERF results last?

XERF results develop gradually, and their duration varies from person to person. It depends on age, skin quality, degree of laxity, lifestyle and the natural aging process.

Because gradual collagen remodeling is part of the treatment’s effect, the result may continue to develop even after the procedure itself.

XERF cannot, of course, stop the biological aging of the skin. The goal is to support its firmness and quality. Depending on the individual assessment, the treatment may be repeated in the future as part of a long-term plan for caring for the aging face.
