OPERATION AND DURATION
The operation takes about one hour and is performed under local anesthesia. The operation is painless.POST-OPERATION
After the operation we put a bandage around the head which needs to stay for 1 week for adults and for 2 weeks for children up to 10-11 years old. The recovery takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the extent of the operation. It is advised not to exercise heavily for 3 – 4 months after the operation. The post-operation pain is moderate and lasts for about 48 hours. We operate healthy patients only therefore the risk is minimal. The results are permanent and there is no reset caused by child growth.RISK

Otoplasty is an aesthetic operation with aim to correct the shape or angle deviation of the ears.
