Minimally invasive breast augmentation using the Preservé method
Characteristics
Minimally invasive breast augmentation using the Preservé method is a gentle approach to breast augmentation that uses a minimal incision, sophisticated technique and new implants. This procedure is designed to reduce scarring, shorten recovery and minimize the risk of complications. The procedure is performed without the need for general anesthesia, with a quick recovery and return to the patient’s normal functioning.
How the method works
The procedure uses an incision approximately 2.5 cm long, through which the implants are inserted into the breast using a sterile funnel-shaped sleeve – the Insertion Sleeve. Thanks to this innovative technique, the implant does not come into direct contact with the surrounding area, which significantly reduces the risk of infection or capsular contracture.
Advantages of the Preservé method
- Minimized incision – significantly smaller scar compared to conventional augmentation (5-6 cm).
- Natural look – implants with a high-quality gel composition ensure an aesthetically natural result even with a slim figure or movement.
- Safety – insertion of the implant through a sterile sleeve reduces skin contact and reduces the risk of capsular contracture or infection.
Course of the procedure and recovery
- Before surgery: consultation with a plastic surgeon, pre-operative examinations including laboratory tests and imaging.
- Day of surgery: the procedure is performed under local anaesthesia with analgosedation. The implants are inserted through a small incision (approx. 2.5 cm) using a sterile sleeve. This is followed by the application of a fixation bra and hospitalisation, usually until the next day.
- Postoperative care: rest for 2-3 days without physical exertion. Wearing a special bra is recommended continuously for 6-8 weeks. Sleeping on the back during the first month and gradual introduction of sports activities after two months.
Who is the intervention intended for
The procedure is a suitable choice for women who wish to have breast augmentation without significant scarring and with a faster recovery. The Preservé method is suitable for implants up to a volume of approximately 500 ml, and the result looks natural in any position or activity.
