Application

The substance is applied by a doctor under local anesthesia either with a special cream or by injection. The procedure does not require hospitalization. After the procedure, the treated area may be reddened, slightly swollen for several hours, bruising may appear in the treated area. These manifestations subside within 3 days.

Duration of the procedure

The duration of the effect after the application of absorbable implants is several months to one year. To achieve a longer lasting effect, non-absorbable implants are used. These are also suitable for the correction of defects or atrophy.
