Cryolipolysis – removal of subcutaneous fat
CRYOTHERAPY IS A NON INVASIVE METHOD BASED ON FREEZING THE SUBCUTANEOUS FAT ON ALL BODY PARTS
Basic information
- localized fat accumulation in problematic areas
Application
The process of controlled freezing of fat cells, the contents of which crystallize, the cell dies and is removed from the body by the lymphatic system. Clinical studies have confirmed that the effectiveness of cryolipolysis can be up to 22 percent fat tissue loss two months after treatment. Before the procedure, a special gel is applied to the skin, so-called. a cryoprotectant that protects the skin from damage and optimizes the depth cooling profile of the subcutaneous fat.Duration
The procedure takes about one hour. Approximately 40% of the resulting effect will be visible in 15 days, to get the final result you need to wait at least 6 weeks.Risks
- haematoma
- reddening of the skin

Frequently asked questions and answers
Lipocryolysis is a new technology that leads to the reduction of localized fat during a selective and non-invasive procedure.
A special application tip is placed on the selected area to combine vacuum trapping of subcutaneous fat and selective cryotherapy for its controlled and controlled cooling.
Fat cells in the subcutaneous tissue are more sensitive to cold exposure than surrounding structures such as blood vessels, peripheral nerves, melanocytes or fibrocytes. This physiological property leads to the elimination of fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissue.
The process of elimination takes place both directly and indirectly. In direct elimination, crystallization, subsequent apoptosis and gradual breakdown of fat cells with release of lipids occurs over the next 2 to 6 weeks.
Indirect elimination occurs as a result of stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system, which induces lipolysis.
Depending on the initial thickness of adipose tissue, the average loss is 3 to 15 mm. In percentage terms, this is a reduction in adipose tissue of approximately 25% to 45%.
Approximately 30 to 60% of the final result occurs within the first 15 days. The overall result is visible after approximately 6 weeks. After this period, a decision is made about a possible further application.
The procedure is not painful. The client may feel tension around the treatment area caused by the vacuum action and an intense cold sensation at the application site, especially at the beginning of the procedure.
Redness and numbness in the treated area may commonly occur and may persist for several hours after application. Exceptionally, a slight haematoma may appear, which is absorbed within a few days.
The client can return to normal activities immediately after the application.
Fat cells eliminated by lipocryotherapy gradually release their lipid content and are subsequently absorbed by the body’s natural metabolic processes.
The iCRYO is mainly intended for local clusters of fat cells. The ideal candidate is not an obese person with an overall excessive amount of fat, but a person who wants to reduce localized fat on, for example, the abdomen, hips, lower back or shoulders.
The iCRYO system of selective and controlled lipolysis leads to a significant and natural reduction of adipose tissue without invasive intervention. It helps eliminate the traumatic experience of invasive methods such as liposuction and reduces the risk of damage to surrounding tissues.
A protective feature of the iCRYO device is the use of a cryoprotective membrane that helps prevent local frostbite on the skin.
