\n After the success of the book Beauty Has No Age, the well-known Slovak doctor, dermatologist Alexandra Novotn\u00e1 is publishing its second sequel.<\/p>\n
\n The book Beauty Has No Age 2 was christened with spring water on Tuesday 12. Erika Jud\u00ednyov\u00e1 and \u0160tefan Skr\u00facan\u00fd at the Urban Space caf\u00e9 in Bratislava’s SNP Square. The baptism was attended by friends, acquaintances and other personal guests of Dr. Novotn\u00e1, including Marcella Moln\u00e1rov\u00e1, the wife of Boris Filan, actress Ingrid Filanov\u00e1, the Chief Hygienist of the Slovak Republic Ivan Rovn\u00fd, poet \u013dubo\u0161 Zeman, the wife of the Slovak Ambassador in Prague Jana Weissov\u00e1 and even Mikul\u00e1\u0161 Dzurinda and Milan K\u0148a\u017eko.<\/p>\n
\n They enjoyed, among other things, vegetarian and gluten-free delicacies from the protected caf\u00e9 Zrnko and if you think they were toasting with champagne, you are mistaken. The welcome drink at this unusual baptism was homemade iced tea.<\/p>\n
\n The impulse to publish the sequel to the successful book was, according to Dr Novotn\u00e1, also the fact that her first book attracted not only the general public, but also professionals working in the world of beauty and health: “I was extremely pleased with its success. I found that the book was also used by professional beauticians for teaching, as there was no comprehensive literature in this area.”<\/p>\n
\n The new 215-page work is published six years apart. In that time, much has changed in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. The book is full of new methods and insights. Today, the beauty world is dominated by safety and risk reduction, non-invasiveness, but the most magical word is – naturalness. “All congresses on aesthetic medicine today are about naturalness, and all those who reach for the handle on the front door of our Aesthetic Clinic are also longing for naturalness. Naturalness is a goal that I have repeated to the doctors I have trained over the years, and there have been dozens of them,” adds Dr Novotn\u00e1.<\/p>\n
\n In addition to Alexandra Novotna, other experts from the medical environment also contributed to the publication. Her clients are not only well-known personalities such as Adriana Kmotr\u00edkov\u00e1, Marcella Moln\u00e1rov\u00e1, Erika Jud\u00ednyov\u00e1 or \u0160tefan Skr\u00facan\u00fd, but also ordinary people with problems that each of us has. “I have met abused women who, despite everything, managed not to lose their strength and hope, got back on their feet and walked on with their heads held high through life. Such as thirty-year-old Janka. Her husband abused her, beat her, insulted her, broke her nose eight times with a stick. It was so bad that even plastic surgery didn’t help. We spent a lot of time before we managed to get it at least somewhat adjusted. She didn’t give up. She is raising two children, studying, and is involved in helping abused women. Her strength and inner serenity are something I never cease to admire,” says Dr Novotn\u00e1 about one of the fates she encounters in her practice, which can also be found in her new publication.<\/p>\n
\n Based on true stories, the book reveals to readers many interesting facts from the field of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. For example, you will learn about the principles to be followed during breast augmentation, for whom the modification of a woman’s assets is suitable and how to choose the right size of implants. The author does not omit the topic of possible risks in the treatment of sagging skin on the face or a detailed procedure for hair transplantation.<\/p>\n
