The surrounding skin and the nail itself remain intact. The absorption of radiation causes the heat that the patient feels during the treatment. The cell wall of the sponge ruptures and is subsequently destroyed.\nWe recommend three sessions at monthly intervals to achieve a certain result, but the length of treatment can be individual for each client.\n<h2>Duration of nail fungus removal<\/h2>\nThe first results will appear at the earliest eight weeks after the start of the treatment due to the growth cycle of the nail. The final effect will take between nine months and one year.\n<h2>Further information<\/h2>\nThe effect of the laser is based on the interaction of radiation and tissue structures. The laser radiation is absorbed in the tissue. Intense heat is generated in the target structure. The tissue is fragmented and destroyed. In patients with onychomycosis, the FOX LASER of 1064 nm wavelength is used. It kills fungus and helps cure the nail.
