OPERATION
During the procedure silicone implants are inserted through an incision made in the line underneath the breast and placed under the breast gland, but more often under the muscle. We usually operate in general anesthesia and the surgery takes approximately an hour and a half.
BEFORE THE OPERATION
- Confirmation of good health together with lab and clinical internal examination
- Preventive use of antibiotics
- The results are permanent and often significantly change the image of the woman
POST- OPERATION
Right after the operation the client gets a special elastic bra she is supposed to wear for the next 3 – 6 weeks, until removal of the sutures. Post-operation pain is individual, we prescribe pain killers to help cope with it. The sutures are removed on the 14th day. After the surgery it is recommended to rest with no physical activity, during the first month one should not lift anything heavy and for 3 months one should not sleep on the stomach.
INSERTING BREAST IMPLANTS
- In the fold under the breast – most used manner of implant inserting, ca 4-6 cm long incision in the line under the breast
- In the arm pit – with this type of incision the scar is minimal
- Around the nipple – incision on the edge of the areola in its lower part – the scar becomes less visible with time but can widen.
OTHER INFORMATION
Types of implants:
- Round implant – gives volume to the upper part of the breasts – augmentation of breasts with slightly round shape in the upper part
- Anatomic implants – give breasts more natural shape
We use implants made by
MENTOR ®.
Both types of implants increase the size of the breasts.
